Healthy Lunches – Please bring your own utensils as they are not supplied. Reminder to let your child know if they have lunches ordered for the week.
Gardening Club - Every Friday from 3:15pm-5:00pm join Mrs. Borman, Mrs. McIntosh and Mr. Vallee. Get an information sheet from Mr. Vallee this week (107). This is for anyone who has an interest in the practice of gardening. The 1st meeting will be held this Friday.
Art Hub – In the grade 7 cafeteria everyday @ 12:30pm

Extra help for any Flute students on Tuesdays at the beginning of lunch with Ms. Marilyn in the band room.

Warriors Athletics Schedule
FIELD HOCKEY: The girls played a very good game last night and came away with a 1-1 tie versus Summerside. There is no practice today. There is practice Monday 3:30-5:00 PM here at EWS. Some former EWS players who now play for UPEI will be guest coaches.

⚽️AA Girls Soccer Practice Monday - Thursday 4:00-5:30
“Golf Club/Try-Outs: East Wiltshire will host it’s Golf Try-Out/Club 9 holes on Tuesday, September 24th. Cost to play will be $20 (+$5 if renting clubs) for 9 holes at Glenn Afton Golf Course. Push carts are $2 extra, so be sure to bring change if you don’t want to carry your clubs. Money should be given to Mr. Currie.
Players can store clubs in the morning at the school. Mr. Currie will assist with storage by the main office. Busses will load immediately after lunch at 12:55. Parents are asked to pick players up after their round concludes. Email sdcurrie@edu.pe.ca with any inquiries.”
Library: Do you love to write? Want a chance to be published? Polar Expressions Publishing has announced their 19th annual student writing contest. This is a student Poetry and Short-Story contest. There are no entry fees and lots of prizes (books and cash $$).

Book Club: The Book Club will meet every Day 1 in Ms. Perry’s classroom (807) at 12:10. Students may bring their lunch and eat during the meeting. The first meeting will be this Friday! We will be reading a variety of books during the school year and will do some creative writing. See Ms. Perry if you are interested but unable to attend.
