Monday, May 16th 2022 Day 5
Grade 9 Semi will be held at the APM on Saturday, June 18th from 7:00 – 10:00pm – PLEASE DO NOT E-TRANSFER ANY FUNDS TO THE SCHOOL AS THIS IS ARRANGED BY PARENTS OUTSIDE THE SCHOOL. TICKETS WILL BE SOLD again on May 25th just for Grade 9 students. The final day for ticket sales is May 27th and Grade 9 students are able to purchase one additional ticket for a Grade 8 guest at that time. No sign-ins for students outside of EWS.
Friday, June, 24th the closing will be held at EWS during the day more details to follow.
End of year field trips
• Field trip permission forms and information about the trips will go home to students on Monday, May 16th. Grade 7 & 8 will go to Sandspit on June 24th; Grade 9 students will go to Sandspit on June 22. Transportation will be arranged to and from these events. The cost per student is $20. Parents may pay the $20 field trip fee via
e-transfer (please indicate student name, homeroom, and Sandspit). E-Transfer address is eastwiltshire@edu.pe.ca Parents can also pay by cash. The deadline for permission slips and monies is Tuesday, May 31st.
• Also, students may pack a lunch or take money to buy lunch at Sandspit. We are not collecting money for lunches or arranging lunches at Sandspit.
School Dance:
When and Where: Thursday, May 19th 7 - 9 at East Wiltshire
Cost: $5 at the door
There will also be candy available for sale to support the cost of Jamaican Dancers we have coming to the school in June.
This is open to all students in Grade 7,8 and 9.
Students must have been in attendance at school for the day.
Any students with outstanding detentions or having had a suspension in May will not be able to attend.
Please do not bring kitbags or items to the school. Students will not have access to their lockers.
As per CPHO guidelines, masks are required to be worn unless students are sitting at a table.

Our annual spring band concert will be held on WEDNESDAY, JUNE 8th at 7:00 p.m. in the East Wiltshire gym. Parents, guardians, family, and friends of our 167 grade 7, 8, and 9 band students are welcome to attend!
GSA: The Gender-Sexuality Alliance Club will meet every Day 3 (note the change) at 12:10pm outside Mr.Mitchell’s office.
