Grade 9 Semi will be held at the APM on Saturday, June 18th from 7:00 – 10:00pm – Tickets will be on sale today at the school -for $10 – PLEASE DO NOT E-TRANSFER ANY FUNDS TO THE SCHOOL AS THIS IS ARRANGED BY PARENTS OUTSIDE THE SCHOOL. TICKETS WILL BE SOLD ANOTHER DAY IN THE NEXT COUPLE WEEKS AND WE WILL ANNOUNCE THE DAY BEFOREHAND.
Friday, June, 24th the closing will be held at EWS during the day more details to follow.
End of year field trips
• Field trip permission forms and information about the trips will go home to students on Monday, May 16th. Grade 7 & 8 will go to Sandspit on June 24th; Grade 9 students will go to Sandspit on June 22. Transportation will be arranged to and from these events. The cost per student is $20. Parents may pay the $20 field trip fee via
e-transfer (please indicate student name, homeroom, and Sandspit). E-Transfer address is eastwiltshire@edu.pe.ca Parents can also pay by cash. The deadline for permission slips and monies is Tuesday, May 31st.
• Also, students may pack a lunch or take money to buy lunch at Sandspit. We are not collecting money for lunches or arranging lunches at Sandspit.
Band Rehearsal Schedule for this week:
Thursday, May 12th: Grade 9 Early AM Band
Friday, May 13th: Grade 7 Early AM Band , Jazz Band after school from 3:15-4:00
Students and staff! Come out and join our East Wiltshire Gardening Club. We will meet Thursday at lunch in the Science lab where Mr. Vallee will sign you up and explain the project. It is a great club for anyone interested in learning about basic gardening, and for gardeners looking to sharpen their skills.
Our annual spring band concert will be held on WEDNESDAY, JUNE 8th at 7:00 p.m. in the East Wiltshire gym. Parents, guardians, family, and friends of our 167 grade 7, 8, and 9 band students are welcome to attend!
GSA: The Gender-Sexuality Alliance Club will meet every Day 3 (note the change) at 12:10pm outside Mr.Mitchell’s office.
