Terry Fox Walk & Pep Rally cancelled for tomorrow due to weather and team conflicts.  New date to be determined.

 “Orange Shirt Day at East Wiltshire intermediate will take place this coming Thursday, September 27th.  
Students and staff are asked to wear an orange shirt to school in support of Residential School Survivors and to honour the many indigenous children who never returned home.”  


There will be an ice cream sandwich sale this Friday during lunch. The cost will be $2 and the proceeds will go to help the Terry Fox Foundation.


Healthy Lunches – Please bring your own utensils as they are not supplied.  Reminder to let your child know if they have lunches ordered for the week.

Gardening Club - Every Friday from 3:15pm-5:00pm join Mrs. Borman, Mrs. McIntosh and Mr. Vallee.  Get an information sheet from Mr. Vallee this week (107). This is for anyone who has an interest in the practice of gardening.  


Art Hub – In the grade 7 cafeteria everyday @ 12:30pm


After School Art Club – Wednesdays. For more information please see Ms. LiliAnne.


Extra help for any Flute students on Tuesdays at 12:30 – 1:00 pm with Ms. Marilyn in the band room.


Science Club Anyone interested in joining the Science Fair Club, please sign up on the sheet outside of the main office, Ms. Campbell’s office or Ms. Smith’s office.

 Library: Do you love to write? Want a chance to be published? Polar Expressions Publishing has announced their 19th annual student writing contest. This is a student Poetry and Short-Story contest. There are no entry fees and lots of prizes (books and cash $$). 
Deadlines: Poetry (32-line max) November 30, 2024
                    Short Story (450-word max) November 23, 2024

Book Club: The Book Club will meet every Day 1 in Ms. Perry’s classroom (807) at 12:10. Students may bring their lunch and eat during the meeting. The first meeting will be this Friday! We will be reading a variety of books during the school year and will do some creative writing. See Ms. Perry if you are interested but unable to attend. 


Cross country practice schedule 
There will be a cross country running practice today at 12:15 PM. Everyone planning on running in next week’s zone meet should attend.
