The Tech Leadership group meets at lunch on Day 1 in room 101 (Mr. K's room) and is open to grades 7-9.
Tech Leadership is looking for keen students to work on projects like:
• continuing to make our school and curriculum accessible for all through 3D design and printing
• designing and making new Warriors swag (clothing, stickers, etc.)
• designing and making stickers/decals/labels/posters

Kitchen Brigades – Every Tuesday after school
THE GENDER SEXUALITY ALLIANCE, OR GSA (STUDENT CLUB) at lunch, in Ms. Perry’s room #807. This is a drop-in club that anyone can join, any time in the year. It is a place for students to hang out, plan events, and talk about issues impacting 2SLGBTQ+ members of the community. Meetings will be every day 4.
The intramural badminton tournament will continue today. The games originally scheduled for yesterday will be played today. The second half will be for free play and the sign up sheet will be in the gymnasium. There will also be one court set aside for the badminton team members.
Good luck to Madison Myers, Darcie Flick, Rebekah Woodworth and Emma Birt, who will be representing EWS this evening at the Provincial Badminton Championships! Go Warriors Go!!!
A reminder that PE classes will be going outside most days until the end of the school year. Please be prepared with proper attire.
Congratulations to Cohen Frizzell who’s been identified by a national tackle football recruiting organization, Canada Football Chat (CFC), as one of the top 50 Canadian players in his age group from across Canada.
As a result, he’s been invited to play in CFC’s annual Youth Prospect Game, which is taking place in Montreal/Rigaud, Quebec, this Saturday, April 27th. Very exciting opportunity for Cohen, who will compete in the game and the game can be live streamed here (https://www.youtube.com/@canadafootballchatlive2796) on Saturday evening, starting at 5 EST. Congrats Cohen!
East Wiltshire sports practice schedule – April 22nd – April 26th
The weekly schedule for EWS Athletics can be found below. There is a fee to play each sport. It can be paid by cash or set up a payment through the office. You can contact me at agmacadam@edu.pe.ca to confirm if paid or not, or to make an arrangement.
The AA Girls basketball team is the only team still playing. Therefore, I need to get the other 3 teams’ uniforms passed in as soon as possible. Thanks to those who passed them in already.
Athletics Forms are in the lobby. Any student wishing to play Spring Sports this year must have a permission form filled out by a parent or guardian and passed in before the first practice.
