March 19th - Tropical Tuesday/Easter Egg Hunt

March 21st - Formal Fake Friday/Just Dance at lunchtime in the gymnasium 

Reminder that all proceeds raised will go to this year’s Easter Seal campaign.

Culture and Diversity Group - A group for students of all backgrounds to support each other in having their experiences shared in a safe space. This group is open to all grades and is meant for everyone. Day 1 @ 12:15-12:45 


Album Club - Similar to book club, Album club is meant for students to learn and diversify their knowledge on genres and artists they've not heard of yet. Every cycle an album is chosen by vote, and at the next meeting the group will discuss their thoughts, feelings, and critiques on the album. This is open to all grades Day 4 @ 12:15-12:45 


The Tech Leadership group meets at lunch on Day 1 in room 101 (Mr. K's room) and is open to grades 7-9.
Tech Leadership is looking for keen students to work on projects like:
•    continuing to make our school and curriculum accessible for all through 3D design and printing
•    designing and making new Warriors swag (clothing, stickers, etc.)
•    designing and making stickers/decals/labels/posters


The PEI Heritage Fair program is a student-centered, inquiry-based learning opportunity that allows Grades 5 - 9 students to explore a Prince Edward Island or Canadian history topic that interests them. Students are encouraged to think critically about history and its implications, acquire a sound understanding of the discipline, and become more engaged in doing history. 
The project format may be a traditional backboard, PowerPoint (or similar), video, audio and images, student-created website, performance or other creative visuals such as diorama.

Any project that is to be presented at the EWS Science Fair must be presented to your Science teacher, or one of the coordinators of the science fair club. 

Kitchen Brigades – Every Tuesday after school

THE GENDER SEXUALITY ALLIANCE, OR GSA (STUDENT CLUB) at lunch, in Ms. Perry’s room #807. This is a drop-in club that anyone can join, any time in the year. It is a place for students to hang out, plan events, and talk about issues impacting 2SLGBTQ+ members of the community. Meetings will be every day 4.


East Wiltshire Warriors Ski Club – Every Wednesday evening leaving the school @ 3:30pm and parents pickup at 8:30pm at Brookvale.  Visit https://www.tourismpei.com/bookvale-activitypark/tickets-rentals Students must sign up every week to attend.  See Ms. Toombs for more information bjtoombs@edu.pe.ca. 

East Wiltshire sports practice schedule – March 18th – March 21st                
The weekly schedule for EWS Athletics can be found below.  There is a fee to play each sport.  It can be paid by cash or set up a payment through the office.  You can contact me at agmacadam@edu.pe.ca to confirm if paid or not, or to make an arrangement.
The AA Girls basketball team is the only team still playing.  Therefore, I need to get the other 3 teams’ uniforms passed in as soon as possible.  Thanks to those who passed them in already.
Badminton Forms are in the lobby.  Any student wishing to play badminton this year must have a permission form filled out by a parent or guardian and passed in before the first practice.
